Ko'olina Wedding in Oahu: Alex + Shaumiya
I was honored and privileged to be apart of Shaumiya's wedding day. We first met working at Abercrombie Kids, a time when part-time retail jobs were the highlight of our winter, spring, and summer breaks from school. I was excited to finally meet Alex, her groom, after hearing all about him and their years of pursuing a long-distance relationship. While Shaumiya is from Hawaii, Alex from Michigan, they both decided to tie the knot here on island at the Paradise Cove in Ko Olina. What better way than to plan a destination wedding here in Hawaii! <3 When Shaumiya told me her and Alex would be moving to San Francisco, I knew that this day would be one to be cherished not just for the happy couple, but for the entire family as well.

Shaumiya was spotted with stunning gold jewelry from Sri Lanka provided by her Aunt... a special touch to her cultural family background.
I met Shaumiya and the ladies in their room at the Marriott Beachcomber, and was surprised to see how dressed and ready they all were! <3
